I've decided to sell my DII because I am in need of a diesel truck to tow my Range Rover since my mom is getting sick of me using her Range Rover for towing. I have had quite a few issues with this truck over the years, but now I think it is finally reliable enough to drive it anywhere. Its got almost 125,000 miles on it and I am the third owner. It started its life as a lease vehicle then the second owner bought it from a North Carolina Dealership. I purchased it with about 93,000 miles have replaced pretty much everything on it.

Brand new Nitto Terra Grappler a/t's (265/75r16) on Land Rover steel wheels
Unevenly worn Yokohoma Geolander M/t's (33x12.50 r 15) on AR steel wheels
Probably more things, but that's all I can think of off the top of my head.
Recently Replaced
Transmission rebuilt at 108,000 miles
Short block w/ 10k miles due to a cracked liner last summer
Machined heads and replaced valve seals
Pretty much every seal was replaced in the block and everything I had access to
Motor mounts
Belt
Starter
Front brakes
Thermostat
All fluids changed about a month ago
I have done all of the work myself (except transmission) with genuine parts. I am a technician at the dealership so I have a pretty good idea what I'm doing. The motor does not leak at all, nor do the hub seals on the rear axle.
Issues
Headliner sags (costs about $150 to have recovered) I may fix thins
Rear diff leaks from third member
Transferbox seeps
Heim joints on rear shocks knock going over bumps, but I am going to fix this once the parts arrive.
SRS light is on and has been on since I bought the truck, probably needs a seatbelt tensioner. I'll throw it on T4 next week to see for sure.
Drivers side seat heater doesn't work - needs the heating element
Overall the vehicle is in great shape for its age. Its the only vehicle I own that I would drive across country without giving it a second thought. I've driven it to New York at least ten times and the only time I came back on a tow truck was due to the cracked cylinder liner. I maintained this meticulously, changing the oil every 3,000 miles with Castrol or Mobile 1 synthetic. Changed every other fluid each year and always used premium petrol from BP or Shell. The drivers seat shows some wear, as does the passenger seat, but neither are cracked. When I did the short block I switched over to green coolant because I personally think that Dexcool is part of the reason for head gasket failures on DII's.
I'm asking $8000 or $7000 with one set of tires and no roof rack.
I'm also interested in trades if anyone has a diesel truck they want to trade.
I'm going out to clean up the interior a bit and then I'll take some pics with the smaller tires.
