Your not related to Will Kelly are you? He lives in Church Hill, just got married.

Nope.

Adams gave me the roll of vinyl to do the stripes, my (ex)girlfriend cut out the stripes since I have no artistic ability. I have heard of another zebra Disco in Midlothian, but I've never seen it.

I never saw any other than yours. I have Adams RRC, Steven Light bought the Cheetah wrapped DI.

Thinking about selling the Disco again, I know, I'm turning into Doug... I find myself wanting a D90 and I think I found one.

Anyone interested for $7000? That's including the roof rack and both sets of tires. I've done a few things since the last time this was up here such as replace the spiral cassette and I replaced the TBH. There's probably other stuff too, but everythings pretty much the same.

I might sell my MG if anyone is interested in that...

Is that a roto-flex joint in the 9th pic you posted ? Just curious as to why you havent done a U-joint conversion on the rear diff ...Nice looking truck by the way ... How long did it take you to put the stripes on ? Just curious ...

I don't see any reason to switch it. I had the original one on there for 120k and it didn't break, it was just cracked and I had a spare. A roto flex is way easier to replace on the trail. I would also imagine it reduces shock loads on the rear axle.

The stripes probably took the equivalent of 8 hours or so to cut out and put on.

Thanks for the compliments!

For some reason I really like that truck, I just don't want to spend that for a Disco.

I hear ya, I wouldn't for most Disco's either, but having most of the drivetrain replaced is worth the money for the right buyer. Feel free to make me an offer, worst case is I say no...

Most guys suggest getting rid of the roto-flex and go with a U-joint if i do a lift ..I replaced a roto-flex on my 96 and it is easier than doing a u-joint .... I wish you had it up for sale back in may ...I just bought a 2000 and looked for one that was already lifted but could not find one ...Oh well , mabey next time ....The one i bought is chawton white but is mostly stock suspension wise ...

On a DII, the roto flex end of the drive shaft does not change angles with a lift due to the radius arms. A lift will not affect the rotoflex on a DII.
