a friend said you may be able to help. I have a 1995 disco 3.9 I have a good head, But we Believe we have a bad block. I am loosing anti freeze and i am getting gasses in the over flow tank. Head has been tested. If you have an engine that would work as well. I have rebuilt just about everything.

I may have a low cost option for you....Will require swapping over your front cover and a few other items.

sure let me here it. I will let you know that my head has been trued and tested. I had my head gasket kit installed. But when a year later the over heating started up so soon, i had the head gasket redone again, but the problem has not resolved. coolant is mixing with the oil. so i took the head back while it was off for the second time, it passes the full test. It has broken my heart to see here sitting there for more than a year.
