2007 LR3 HSE, Metallic Black w/ Tan interior fully loaded with LUX, SAT, NAV and HSE pkgs. *Metallic Black is the one color Land Rover applies in extra coatings for longer life and durability.

photos: http://www.jwestproductions.com/2007LR3/

Asking ~$28k-$30k negotiable based on some extra wheels and stock parts.
50,000 miles as of December 2010

Under full warranty until 50,000 miles / or June 2011, extended warranty can be extended by dealer. I could buy it and include with adjusted sale price so it's fully attached to original warranty with no inspection required or dealer says it can be extended by new owner if done before 53,000 but would require inspection at dealership.

This is totally "set up" for serious trail and/or camping use (parts list below).

All standard services have been done by Rover dealer on time or early.

The body is perfect, the leather is clean with no damage anywhere (2nd and 3rd row seats have been folded closed and covered by rubber mat 100% of the time anyway keeping them perfect.

(All roof items like Rack and awnings in photos not part of sale however wiring for roof lights stays with vehicle to use as desired by new owner. There are a total of 6 plugs with 2 being for the rear. All are on 4 separate switches up front in the roof) (Rack and awnings in photos not part of sale however I can direct you to the same source to make it easy if interested in same things) Even without the roof rack and lights, the wiring and interior switches will remain for very simple set up of your own layout. 4 switches total, 1 controls both rear lamps, 3 control L,R, middle front or side lamps.

The leather is clean with no damage anywhere (2nd and 3rd row seats have mostly been folded close and covered by rubber mat 100% of the time anyway keeping them perfect.

Window tinting is 3M all including sunroof, legal in all states at more than 35%

MODS/PARTS (rough initial costs including shipping/tax):

$1300 ARB bumper - with factory fogs and parking sensors re-installed

$1000 WARN winch XD9000

$1600 Rock Sliders/undersill side protection plating with side rails by Rover Specialties (very protective of the air tank and compressor as well)

$2400 Rear bumper/tire carrier/jerry can holder by KAYMAR with parking sensors re-installed and license plate relocation with lamp. Tire carrier was relocated more toward middle of car to allow better visibility of right rear tail lamps.

$800 Could include custom bike hitch style mount and bike rack for hitch mounted bike racks - this keeps rack high from ground and not using the actual hitch.

$300 rear ladder-lr genuine

$250 rear lamp guards-lr genuine

$80 body side moulding-lr genuine

$550 snorkle-lr genuine

$350 towing block and wiring-lr genuine

$300 cargo mats rubber-lr genuine (rear flat, rear 5" deep, 3rd row foot-well, other passenger as well)

Electrical & AIR (run on 2nd battery system-all switches, gauges inside left rear access panel):

$100POWER INVERTER flush mounted in left rear panel wall

$500 ON BOARD AIR socket fed by ARB compressor mounted on right side vehicle with stock 2nd air tank similar to left side arrangement (both protected by rock slider plating)

3x 12V SOCKETS additionally mounted 1 at each very rear panel top and one near left side 2nd seat door panel section for Fridge, etc.

MAP LIGHTS & secondary DOME LIGHTS all run off 2nd battery, center dome lights run standard with normal stock time-out feature)

$400 Rear work lamps and/or forward roof lights - switchable via 4 lit switches in front cockpit overhead.* roof rack and lamps *not included *but it is all pre-wired (no roof holes were cut, all are powered through single line out the back hatch with single plug for roof rack removal simplicity)

Parts alone were over $12k, all work was done by a 20yr certified Master Land Rover tech in NC at Flying Circus English Cars, Ltd. Labor was roughly $10k

Stock 19" wheels also available in addition to stock bumpers and sills depending on sale price. Also seen in photos, 4 of the SE v6 5 spoke wheels available as third set or for a camping trailer.

Note: Wheels shown are 2007 SE 18" version which are the second generation of the 10 spoke design. All 5 match. Some photos on link show older wheels not on car anymore and not included. All 5 tires are BFG AT KO and are at 75% or better.

**Stock bumpers and sills can be shipped to buyer at their cost.

Just curious, what warranty did the dealer say could be extended, Easy Care? Their prices just went up recently btw quite a bit.

I am aware of the current prices. They go up every year.

It is under the factory warranty now and an extended warranty be added.

All dealers seem to source different warranties I have learned. For example, the Cary, NC dealer does not sell the same one that the Bellevue, WA dealer sells.

The warranty prices for the top level coverage I was quoted by Land Rover Cary are $4375/3yr/100k or $5075/4yr/100k. I think it's issued by Old Republic. Everything covered by original would still be covered as per the contract notes I read.

These prices are good at least until the end of the year I was told.

However, to each their own. My service rep in Bellevue says he'd just put the money in an account and take my chances because in the 100k range, he wouldn't expect to use up the cost of the warranty. I'm not sure if other dealers will do this but he told me he would cover any issues up to middle 50's or even 60k if they are obvious failure issues.

I realize that may be saying a lot for a Land Rover, but then again, it's more likely that failures will be after 100k and the things that do poop out, like maybe an air compressor, are quite cheap to replace.

Its def worth having one IMO esp for bit ticket items, Easy Care was the one I went with in my area. Wasn't aware they had different ones, hmm.

No muddy boots! That was after a mtn bike ride and the big down-hill type tire scuffed it. It can easily be cleaned off which I should do and repost better photos.

Hasn't this damn truck been for sale since 2007? Why do you start a new thread every 6-months?

For sale threads are obviously deleted after a period of time which necessitates a new thread if for sale again in the future.

I thought you were one for better accuracy. This would be the third time in 4 years of ownership, so it hasn't been every 6 months.

Thanks for the pointless bump anyway!

It's kind of pointless to even list it for sale, wouldn't you think? The truck is not going to sell at your sarcastic prices. Learn to deal with it.

Besides you being an asshole for listing old threads mostly being bitch fests, how is $28k now sarcastic? Past threads are entirely irrelevant to the current "asking" price.

People pay $25k for plain stock versions, why not a few $k more for some extra stuff?

Why don't you attack the people selling old discoveries with tdi conversions for those high prices?

Don't say it's because those other vehicles are rare.

I clearly specified the price is flexible as there are a number of items someone may or may not want.

Why don't you give yourself a day to think up something useful as well as honest instead of your usual off the cuff bullshit meant only to poke fun or harm?

I would have a hard time spending that kind of money for something that I would turn into a raisin. However, my wife would look good toting the baby around in something like that!!!

Good luck with the sale, it's a nice looking truck.
