200tdi headgasket removal

I've got the head off and there's one bit if the old elring gasket that refuses to come off the head. Any tips? I've been killing plastic scrapers and gasket remover fluid does nothing.

Seems that the machine shop will get that right off when they machine the head.

I was trying to avoid that. An engineers ruler shows no issues which isn't surprising since the HG failure was the usual 200tdi cylinder 4 failure.

Looks like I'll need to order some injector washers and yank those out.

Well, a little more gasket remover, some elbow grease and a copper brush did the trick.
