So this has been ongoing for a couple of years now but haven driven the vehicle that much but it's beginning to bother me now. I can never get a full 23 gallons in the tank. The most I can get is 19.2 gallons and that is with the indicator telling me I have less than 5 miles to go before empty.

What could cause the fuel tank to not completely fill up? Would a bad DMTL cause this? There are no CEL or messages of any kind. I've searched high and wide for this problem but seem to be the only one with it or others aren't reporting it.

Thoughts? Ideas?

Everything I’ve read says that’s just how it is. I’ve never been able to get more than 18 in, I replaced my DMTL pump last summer.

The max I’ve ever been able to put in is 20.x, maybe I’ve hit 21.

So based on this logic, rather than 375hp, we probably have 326 (pick any arbitrary number).

Glad I’m not the only one who is experiencing this.

Keep in mind Land Rover has an 80% rule on accuracy. We need to score 80% on any test to get a passing grade. They really only seem to hold themselves to 80% accurate information. What’s fair is fair.

The motor definitely feels like it has all 375 horses.
