You'd like it a lot better than the G-Wagen.

I like the body shape of the old Gwagons, and I have mixed views of how the current one look. I don’t like the exterior and interior design of the Grenadier. I don’t like the asymmetries and the roundness of the front end. With the interior, I’d want a traditional dash cluster.

Interesting you should bring this up.
I thought about it during my two test drives of the Grenadier.
On most long-distance trips in my 384k-mile Classic, I have an 8" tablet mounted in the middle of the dashboard. I know that both speedometer and tachometer are lying, so I never trust either. Temperature gauge and oil pressure light (that I normally should care for) are mostly for entertainment. Fuel gauge is relatively predictable, but I don't look at it often.
I could bulldoze the instrument panel in the Classic completely and not miss much.
