After doing some Google searches, this came up on the Land Cruiser:

Toyota designs every component with a 25-year life expectancy.

Other information on vehicle life cycle testing showed that 10 years and 150,000 miles was the norm.

I believe that dumbfuckery has been rising over the last decade, and while it may not be increasing exponentially, it is definitely accelerating.

I live just off a 6-ish percent grade going up the first hill out of Denver.
You simply would not believe the number of vehicles, especially as the weekend approaches, pulled on the side of the road, hood up, with their 297,000 pound trailer attached.
Did it not occur to them to, oh I don't know, look under the hood before they piled Martha and all their spawn into the Denali for a weekend of living in a trailer?

"You do not have to service the automatic transmission; the fluid is lifetime fill."
"How long is lifetime?"
"Until it fails."

That would look better if the windows were taller.

As it is, the cabin looks every so slightly squashed, and out of proportion with the body.

To me it's just a slimmed down LR3. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. But it's hard to see this being a big seller stateside. Removable roof & door panels with a roll cage... something like that might stand it out from the crowd.

That looks like what I'd expect from the 110 version based on the information that we've seen so far. It will have a very similar overall length to the D2.

Would have made a good Discovery 5. Disappointing as a Defender. Doesn’t look terrible, but I’m not sure about the fenders.

It looks like it just has a skinny good to say they have flat fender tops. That’s a stupid design gimmick.

I had high hopes. The side view isn’t terrible from what I’ve seen. But that monstrous Disco 5 front end ruins it for me.

Took them how long to slap some fender flares and tread plate on an LR3? Kind of what I was expecting but still disappointing
