Tiny? It's about the same size as a D1/D2. Same wheelbase, anyway. There are plenty of factory accessories that seem handy, although the side boxes are debatable. Too soon to tell, but aftermarket goodies may come along later.

I still think its a lot of cash for something that tiny and non-user friendly to upgrade/modify and a lack of aftermarket support.
I’m guessing 98% of potential customers are not even wondering about that. The options LR offers are what they feel folks want.
It is a far cry though from when one could buy a winch bumper, winch, and roof rack all from the accessories catalog when purchasing a RRC.

What if you got $500 a month gross added to your paycheck ?

I'm sure it drives better and is more capable, but I far prefer the LR4 design, don't use infotainment features, and with our family activities the large cargo area is hard to give up. I'm inclined to keep my F150 and D90 combo which suite our every want and need.

I think the new Defender is probably the coolest vehicle ever built, but they cost 10X more than I've ever paid for any vehicle. There are of course exceptions, but I was told that Land Rovers never go off road until the 3rd owner.

Seriously?? You are literally the first person I've heard to have that reaction. I'm sure it will be plenty capable. Cool? I don't see that.

I didn't look what the air suspension would cost. I don't like the 110. You guys are right, it doesn't look like a Defender. Maybe it's the demensions but the 90 looks like a defender to me.
The alloy wheels are $3800. I'm pretty sure the upgraded sound system came with a cool box. So I took that out of it to.
So that's the sticker on a 90 just about as stripped down as you can get it. Added the locking diff, cold climate pack. And everything but white is a $750 color.
I don't want to take delivery till spring. Also still want to drive a couple 90's first.

Not sure I would need:
Auto High Beam Assist (AHBA) $250.00
Activity Key $200.00
Yet would be my choices as well.
Having owned a NAS 90 and a 110 in Brazil, the 90 with 2 labs became very small even with the side seats removed.
It does look better though!
$3.8k for alloy wheels is ridiculous!

It goes on your wrist like a watch or a Fitbit. You leave your wod of keys in the truck. Get out and within a set timeframe after closing the last door you hold your wrist up to a target on the tailgate. Doors lock. Then when you return to the vehicle you press gate release sw( it won't open) to wake up vehicle. Hold your wrist to the same target and vehicle unlocks.
