I think it was a way better effort than the new Chevy Blazer that looks like every other on road SUV. I like the comfort of the newer stuff, the looks and simplicity of the old stuff. It would be nice to have a modern SUV that wasn’t so technologically overloaded. Modern automotive electronics are better than ever BUT there is too much of it.

This is just what I was thinking - make it a nice, new, comfy vehicle with plenty of power and also modern efficiency and put it in the old school body package. Don't need to get into all the long, drawn-out DNA and heritage crap like Land Rover and the new "Defender". Just make it look like the old Bronco as much as possible (obviously there will be necessary changes to accept the modern systems). Hell, it's just a simple box with round headlights. Worked then, will work now. Also have a techno-basic model that has electronic engine management, simple climate control, and a radio and speakers. Please keep the goddamn gay "info-tainment" touch screen bullshit out of these vehicles. Fuck the cameras all over the place. Give me an easy defeat for seat belt chime. Don't beep at me or fucking vibrate when I'm changing lanes. Give me a fucking slot to put the real key in. Don't answer all the design and technology questions that no one asked.
