93-94 RRC upper Radiator hose

So been about 8 years since remodel of a RRC. I have a 1994 I am rebuilding. All is good, but the upper hose with the glorious sensor in the hose question. The hose on it now is a regular hose with no sensor threads. The sensor they have just setting on the engine. So factory looking. Is this part obsolete now if so, what has become of this sensor relocate ? Thanks!

Good question, it does look like that hose is now obsolete. I guess there is no choice but to put in a hose without the sensor port and tie down the electrical lead.

For me the hose kept failing at the sensor port. So this was the solution:
