Tooling with the idea of selling my disco to fund the next money pit. Here is the Clift notes version. I’ll post more pictures and answers any questions you have.

CAMEL TROPHY TRIBUTE TRUCK

1996 SD factory 4.0 V8 5speed with no frills. Factory color was white. No sun roofs. All manual cloth interior in awesome shape. Painted in “Sandglow” Rockers and boot floor replaced last year. Rock sliders. ARB lockers front and rear. Factory gearing. Rear drawer system with power outputs for 12v accessories. Rubber Land Rover floor mats. Painted headliner will never fail again. Front diff guard. Warn winch. Winch relay wired to leftover factory radio switches on gauge surround. All new brakes and front suspension bushings. New rear upper arm joint. New rear swaybar joints and bushings. Recent clutch. Safety devices roof rack with marine plywood flooring coated in a solid stain. Snorkel. Brown church replica brushguard and winch mount. 110v power inverter. ABS pump removed completely. New cats. All new hoses and many other rubber parts. New 235/85/16 maxxis MT on TUBLESS defender Steelies.
And many other details I may not remember. Drive it anywhere. Located in Memphis,TN. $20,000 OBO

That is cool. That might be the only Disco with snorkel that I wouldn't feel like a tool driving. Well done.

Yeah. I saw it parked outside a house on Peabody when I was viewing homes about a month ago. Oddly enough, I was certain I saw a 2 door Perentie blasting down Walnut Grove on that section everyone drives 70mph on by Shelby Farms. It could have been this same 5 door, but I would have remembered that. I see the odd Disco in town and have seen a 300 tdi converted Range Rover Classic. Only other unique thing I’ve seen is a new 110 with the Camel Trophy design over by the Germantown Parkway Animal Hospital.

I’m still dragging my feet on wiring my 88” and installing the radiator and occasionally drive my friend’s 110 that gets neglected and sits for months at a time

I’ve met the guy with the 2door. Check out “big river overland” on YouTube. It’s on there frequently. My buddy colin has the white 300tdi classic . Are you local?
