Ok repaired crank sensor wiring still rough idle, no acceleration? In the beginning ran but no acceleration, suspected fuel delivery problem so went with fuel filter and fuel pump no change. Next suspect MAF cleaned it installed no change, replaced spark plugs no change, last repair is crank sensor connector wiring still no change. Ok it start up and runs no stall, but the throttle is flat. Got a reply that rubber air intake hose is cracked, it’s original to this D1 I don’t see any cracks. I may replace for good measure. All through this problem no CEL? Thinking this is mechanical? Any ideas are appreciated.

BIG WHEEL ROVN IN KNOXVEGAS TN.
Check idle air control valve if it turns out good the vehicle speed sensor can reek a little havoc if they are not sending a clean signal to the ecu even at idle the ecu may think your doing 150 mph or something dumb like that and jerk that iacv around also check all your vacum lines
And lastly maybe a long shot your tps

By the way ive yet to see a smart ass post worthy of quoting or even a little merit to anyone who is reading this other than the boxster

There are always the injector o-rings or injectors themselves. My O-Rings were dried out and leaking. A steady but rough idle. (I do have a Wedgeshop Erson cam) The idle would increase and the CEL light would come on if cleaner was sprayed around the injector seats. Carb cleaner or MAF cleaner.
I would get the CEL light, then check with OBDII readr. Misfire on all cylinders (P0300 thru P0308) about once a tankful.
