Time to sell my 98 D1, 50th anniversary edition, shit's fancy. Most of you are going to hate my truck, that's cool with me, keeps the thread up near the top.

Front suspension, all custom radius arms, cromo heim joints, SAW 2.5" coil-overs, SAW hydro bumps, trussed axle with a full sewer cap. 4130 steering and panhard rod, all on chromo heims.

Rear suspension, RTE 3" springs, Fox 2.5" smooth-bodies, poly bumps, half sewer cap, RTE trailing arms.

Interior, full cage, tied into the frame, not mounted to the body like most, constructed entirely of .120 wall DOM. 3 suspension seats with Crow 5-point harnesses, fridge/cargo mount on the right side where a second rear seat would otherwise go. Rear storage area has a removable shelf that splits your stuff up nicely so you don't have to take everything out just to get a roll of TP.

Driveline, Tru-tracks with 4.11 gears, Maxi-drive front axles and CVs, Rovertracks rear axles, D2 front driveshaft, U-joint rear. Motor and tranny run strong, and shift smoothly.

Exterior, custom front winch bumper with a Superwinch ep9 along with syn line, reworked Safety Devices rack with chicken coop flooring, and 4 Hell rally 4ks converted to HID. Rover solutions sliders. 6 15" steel wheels and 5 33x12.5" BFG mud terrains with plenty of tread. No rear bumper at the moment, but I'll build a new one before the new owner takes delivery of the truck.

Dual batteries on a "boat switch", 000 battery cable throughout.

A little over 144k miles, and has never let me down, never been trailered and never been on a tow truck, ever.

I'm sure there's a bnch more that I forgot to mention.

It has seen some trails, and it shows, this is not the truck to buy because your wife wants something nice to pick the kids up from school in, it's the truck to buy because you want to hit miles of desert whoops and then go to the Hammers. It's taken me everywhere, and I'll say it again, it has never been towed home, ever.

Of coarse it has the usual 13 year old Rover leaks, but never needs a top-up between fluid changes. There are a few other minor issues, most of which I'll fix before the new owner gets ahold of it, and none are going to stop it from driving across country or taking you to the tip of Baja and back tomorrow.

Asking $10k (minus GPS and race radio, but with a healthy amount of spare parts) but willing to keep some of the parts that don't effect drivability and that I can either use on my next build or sell on their own to get the price down. I take credit cards and can help arrange shipping/delivery, and would be 100% confident to drive this thing across the country tomorrow if you want to fly in and drive it home.

This is essentially what she looks like, will either build a new bumper for it, or send it to a friend's shop to have a new rear bumper built for the new owner as it's currently missing
