My buddy has a 99 D1 that I built up. He bought it from me after I built it, and hasn’t driven it since. That was a few years ago. It has sat, and rusted to shit. The floors and sills are trashed. We are deciding what to do with it…rebuild or parts swap. Here’s a list of the parts. Most are pretty much unused but show age from sitting. Engine has 145k and I refreshed the top end.

RTE 3” springs
Fox performance IFP shocks 10”
All needed mounts top/bottom f/r
terrafirma corrected radius arms
Terrafirma trailing arms
Polybushes
RTE steering
Terrafirma stabilizer
RTE sliders with nerf (shorter to fit tires)
RTE bull bar winch bumpwr
RTE rear bumper for 2” body lift
RTE 2” body lift
Superwinch X9
Custom drive shafts f/r
Open front GBR third 4:11
Toy rear 30 spline, Zip locker, 4:11
D90 brakes
Stainless lines
Stock steelies
1” wheel spacers

I’m probably forgetting stuff. My goal is to gauge interest in selling it whole, or parting it out for him. If it gets parted out, I’ll be purchasing the rear axles for spares. I would prefer someone buy it all, or at least a large portion at once…like the suspension for $XXXX.

If you part it out it, I’d like to pull some interior parts. I assume it is in St. Louis. I will be there in about a month.

I am primarily interested in the front bumper, sliders, and interior bits depending on the their condition.

I might be interested in the entire truck if the price is right.

The interior is not pretty. The rust ate the carpets up. The front seats are junk. I guess everything else is alright though. The engine and trans were solid when parked. He drove it 70mph for two hours from my place to his.

let me do some math on what the whole thing is worth. Feel free to shoot an offer though.

Here are some estimated retail prices for some of the parts listed…

radius arms $500
trailing arms $250
Shocks $600
Springs $400
Steering $300
4:11s $200 (plus install and stuff)
Zip locker built by Marlin $2000
30 spline conversion $1200
Front bumper $1200
Rear bumper $1000
Sliders $900
Winch $650
Drive shafts $400ea
And other random bits.

So that’s about $10k in parts. Used they are probably worth somewhere around half that? I’m talking to my buddy now. He still wants to fix it. But I’ll be the one doing it. And I don’t have the time or desire. Someone make me an offer so I can avoid the work!

If you part it out, let me know. A few of the interior bits I need typically survive unless the sun gets them.

It is in Jackson MO, which is 100 miles south of St. Louis. He drained all of the fluids and was putting new plugs and stuff on before starting it.

I have an offer for a bumper.
So let’s say $5000 for the whole truck. $4500 without the front bumper. $4000 with bumper and no fancy axle. Or $3500 no bumper or fancy axle.

Winter and no garage. So it will now be spring before I even get to start on it. I broke my leg in august and have been down since.
