AC Condenser Fans

I have a '97 D1, and my AC condenser fans (behind front grille) do not work at all. I did not notice when they stopped working. As I understand it, on the NAS (SFI) Discos they are supposed to activate whenever the AC switch is on. What could be a common cause of this? Has anyone troubleshot this before? I am going to replace the relay just on GP, but I would like some experienced replies on any potential causes. Thanks in advance.

Hmm, they should be hardwired to come on whenever the AC clutch engages. I would check for a loose connection or ground (and use a multimeter to make sure it is not the pusher motor that is dead).
