Are there any AEL Fuel Pump Alternatives out there? Any Cross references or cheaper options? My 98 D1 pump works just fine but I'm only seeing 30psi. Regulator is working, lines are all clear, fuel filter is brand new, fuel pump was a rock auto purchase 2 years ago... I'd love to put a new pump in for fun but not at OEM prices lol.

There is a pump you can swap into the pickup. However…I’ve had better luck just buying the whole shebang. Rock Auto had one for under $200 with pickup. I’ve had one in my truck for years with no issue. LRD has one for $300.

Try these guys. I’ve dealt with them a handful of times. It will come with the corogated plastic hose and the pump.

You can slap a 98 Corvette Fuel Pump into the D1 AEL Fuel Pump Assembly. Plenty of kits on amazon, ebay, or buy it locally from an auto parts store. I slapped a Delphi unit into my 98 LSE with a new sock and it worked great. If the rest of your assembly works you'll only spend around 65.00 tops.
I definitely hear ya. I had bench tested a stock injector at one point and I didn't see a difference in pattern from 30-40psi. Butttttttt.... I love working on this old thing so why not.

I will have to check on pricing and availability, I just replaced the fuel pump in my ‘98, and still need another for my ‘99, but I think the one I put in my truck was priced such that I could sell them at most $275 shipped, but I have to determine which vendor it was.
What about 27-28psi? I just swapped out the fuel filter and no change. Ordered the pump listed above just in case.
