thanks
if no one is offended i will post more

theres this nostalgia or idea that to do this is exceptionaly expensive
i couldnt aford it if it was.
this trip was my most expensive i saved for three yrs basicly a car payment every month.
my others were less as expensive as an elk or bear hunt in the states
so i continued to hunt afrika.
i wrote alot of shit about cost in johns littary outdoors
this stuff is dooable at least once in your life if you like to hunt.
jim
these are water buck
not on the trophy list

Nice Bull, I like the way he carries mass well out on the hooks. Is that Dene Bird with the panga?

No, I hunted in SA last year, in fact my trophies are on a slow boat from Africa as we speak. Was hoping to go back next fall for Buff but Zim just keeps getting scarier so Zambia is an option. I've never heard a complaint about Dene or Balla Balla.

balla balla was awsome and reasonably cheap.
when i hunt africa my friend and ph rassie erasmus sets it all up.
and suprises me.

after driving the 14hrs in and getting to my hut exhausted i noticed the floor mat said balla balla.balla borders on kafue natl park and the animals free roam.
the buff would tear down the fences if they didnt.
we actualy came across ak 47 carrying poachers as we hiked in kafue and balla properties.
and we met the rangers traking the poachers as we hiked on.

sally i referenced above is a tame buff cow raised by dene and joann, sally chased us all over camp and would not allow us back in camp at night.
at one point she got so rowdy we clicked our safeties off and i threatened to kill her.
by the last day sally and i were friends.
im at work now and will post a pic of sally later.
if you plan zambia let me know i would love to go back.
im planning leopard for 2006 with a bow in rsa at the cave house.
jim

Actualy i want a leopard because its a leopard.
but in reality my hunting ethics are a bit against it.
but i want a dam leopard.

its about sitting in a blind 30 yds from a baited tree all night long every day untill he comes.

im a walk and stalk kind of guy.

but i got the permit so im going.

Oh, I thought maybe that you were going to walk and stalk the thing.. Ya, I'm not the sit in the tree kind of guy either.. I won't even do that for deer here.. Of course I guess you kinda have to do that since it would probably be impossible to actually stalk a leopard.

yes.
i think it would be the other way around.
you start out as the leopard hunter
and then get your face peeled off from behind.
and realize he was realy hunting you the whole time.

in my walk and stalks by myself in africa in mountain areas i came across rocky areas that smelled like cat piss.then i noticed cat tracks ,, big ones.
scared the shit out of me.i ran home to mamma (camp).
the guys laughed at me when they were sober.then they get drunk and happen to mention harry down the block who had his face peeled off.
the blind sounds good to me.
i know a guy who sat in a tree stand blind for lion.
an elephant started eating the tree they were in and then pushed it over.
