I have to say Allisport puts out some damn nice work. I picked up their non sight glass header tank for D1. Figured the 15 year old tank that on it now will fail pretty soon, so I splurged for a good one (buy once cry once). After being on a wait list for about a month, finally was finished Monday. Sent funds that night and from the UK to Oregon got it in 3 days.
Beautiful welds on it, and it came with a new cap as well. I'm very impressed.
Figured I would post this since Ive seen a few mentions of it but never any info.

That's not a bad price for that peace of mind. I replaced my D1's black plastic tank with the clear plastic one, but I reckon this aluminum model will go on my shopping list for the next time I'm due for a coolant replacement.

Had a bit of free time, and got it installed. Very smooth install, was waiting for something to break.

Replay from Allisport in mid-Aug regarding the Disco rads:

Due to our current volume of orders and material shortages, we are working through backlog of orders. Our current estimated lead time is 25-30 weeks. Please let us know if you would like to be added to our back order list, so we can make sure items are allocated for you and advise as soon as they are available.

Not too bad all considering, on that time line.

I was able to find the leak on my old one (4 year old), cracked solder joint on bottom out tube. And a small crack in the bottom of the tank. An hr later all patched up, resprayed with Rad paint and ready to store away.

Decided to add on the Power steering tank, when ordering it I asked if it was possible to have a 12an and 8an fittings. They said sure no problem.

it turned out really nice.
