Any tips on replacing a window seal

Hi all, my rear windows seal (gasket) slipped and now the glass is kind of floating on one side of the track (by small window). I found a replacement at a local yard... how in the hell does one slide it up when the glass is in? Has anyone done this? Thank you. :banghead: Discovery II

Lower the window about half way and spray the backside of the window run channel with spray silicone lube. Just the bottom 6 inches or so. Then push it between the glass and the steel channel in the door.

I still can't get it to slide up the channel. Would it be easier to remove the window... if so how does that come out? I'm just frustrated that it's this difficult.

GOT IT!! Tip: Use one hand to guide the seal up while using the other hand on top, pull the window away from the channel that's being replaced.
