LR3/Disco owners if you made the switch from Air to coil's would you do it again?
Who did you use? Lessons learned?
Thank you!

I currently have an LR3 with 191,000 miles. The issues with the air system are starting with my vehicle, decision time.
Thank you.

I have installed a few and sold a few. The lr3 rides extremely well on them and I personally as well as those who put them on were very pleased with the outcome.

lifted with ome 2 inch

Item: L319SRK-ABPL 1020.00
lifted with AB style 2 inch

Item: L320SRK-A 959.00
standard height kit

all have the reflash module ....

its an easy clean job.

Keep in mind you’ll lose the cross-axle linking you get with the air suspension. Think this is a big feature to give up. Like many I’ve fought issues here and there with air suspension as it ages. It can be a pain in the ass more than anything and often isn’t incredibly expensive to fix

I'm not sure how big a deal that might be. I think a cross link valve is needed on air suspension but not so much with steel springs. I think because they made steel sprung LR3s your really just buying an aftermarket strut and spring. I don't like it when its a L322 Range that was never designed with a steel sprung suspension.

Certainly is needed on air but on coils with independent suspension there’s nothing to link movement of one wheel to another, unlike a solid axle. Seems this would limit articulation and the usefulness of the articulation off road.

Couldn’t help but think of this thread during this discussion
