I have a 04 Disco II, 4.6. Just got it out of the shop. New plugs, wires, core packs and injectors. I starts and idles fine. But when starting to accelerate or under a load, it has a popping noise almost like it is back firing. Would anyone know what could cause that.
Also that AC vents are stuck on Def and floor and will not change to the dash vents. Is the actuators for the dampers on this model run by vacuum or it is electrocial?

Back fire could be fuel pressure related and or fuel filter. The actuators are electric, could be the selector control.

Do a climate control test, key on, press and hold the a/c and airflow buttons wait until beeping stops read the code.
