I've price shopped EE vs. the wide world of the intraweb and they were always spot on or a few bucks lower. I'd rather buy a set of shocks from John and have an immediate response on availability, shipping, etc. and unending answers to questions if I need them vs. a completely automated warehouse ordering & shipping system with no human involvement at all. The simple truth is that you rarely had to ask questions because the EE site was Encyclopedia Britannica of Land Rover and associated merchandise.

I'm not a Snow Peak guy and I don't get all fancy shmancy when camping so I don't buy that stuff from EE. But if that's your thing, then who am I to criticize it? I spend absurd amounts of money on plenty of stuff that most people would consider stupid as fuck.

On the topic, thought LR was selling vehicles in record numbers? See more LR product at our local ski now more than ever. Jags not so much.
I think you might be right. I'm seeing lots of stuff about aged port stock. Something I've never heard before.
In my opinion Land Rover is starting to suffer from nobody wanting to work for them. They pay for shit, they can't help you fix the shit cause they don't know, and now people can't get in for service. When they do get in for service chances are the guy that used to fix shit for them quit.

The Snow Peak backpacking stuff is great when every gram counts and all that titanium weighs very little. Not sure why you'd want to pay that much as what their car camping gear costs.

OTOH, their flagship store in Portland is across the street from a very nice brewpub with a rooftop bar ...
