Beater bolt action rifle WTD

Looking for a cosmetic beater for truck duties.

Prefer a short action, anything from 22-250 to .358 Win would be fine.

Cosmetic issues o.k. but I'd like a clean bore. Scope unimportant as I'm looking at some used examples.

Biggest point is price; the lower, the better.

Make preference not too important. Win, Rem, Ruger, even Savage.

What make Mauser, I have been looking for a izzy conversion.
Stu, have you looked at the mossbergs? I picked up a 30-06 just to burn up some reloads I did not want to run through my garand. For $330 it's not a bad rifle

the 308 is spanish its been sportirized, I have a yugo 8mm and the other is spanish too it says La coruna 1953 on it.

The Yugo is drilled for scope mounts took me 2 years to find some that woud work, just need to get a new stock for it.

What about a 30-06 Springfield? Gun is real old but action si clean. Slightly sporterized stock.
