Watch out for button vs flat 18650 if your light requires either.

I got tiny little disk magnets from Ebay just for that issue.
I fine that my single cell lights work fine with the flat top but if I need 2 you'll need the buttons tops. The magnets work fine to replace the button.

Are you talking about how my 18650 battery is a pain in the ass to charge because the + end is flat? If so, which magnets did you pick up? Thanks!

These work great.

I have a Niteforce charger and it has no problem charging flat top batteries.

Does it matter to you if the 18650s are regulated or not?
Regulated batteries are mainly to protect it from getting to hot. Honestly regulated batteries are not that much more so it's probably worth it to get them.
Like I told Dan, look for the Japanese made Panasonic batteries and you should be good to go.
