I spent a month in Asheville, NC this past spring and one of the highlights was getting to spend a couple days driving at the Biltmore Estate. The trails were challenging and I enjoyed getting to know the welcoming and professional staff. I wrote an article about the experience which ran in a South African off-roading magazine, which you can read here if you wish. The editor made some unexpected decisions with the headline and added a couple photos that are not mine, but what can you do?

Nicely written. Well done.

Great article Nick! We just had our full day LRE with Aaron this past Tuesday in the D1. He was fantastic to work with. I’ve done enough YouTube off-roading to appreciate the concepts - and my wife was a complete novice - and Aaron was the best instructor for both of us.

I’ll get some pics in the build thread as soon as I get them downloaded.

Edit: my wife noticed in one part the name is typo’ed to the “Baltimore” estate. As you said, what can you do?

Glad to hear you had a great time. How muddy were the trails? Looking forward to seeing your photos.

Aside from a couple wet spots, not very muddy, even though it rained a bit the day prior. We were able to take some lines that otherwise would have been too slippery. We were also able to spend the second half of the day on the rock crawling section, which really helped teach the wife and I how to spot and communicate in technical areas.
