This is pretty cool. Charge USB devices via a stove.

I Tested the stove tonight charging my OLD G1 Android phone. It charges the phone, then charges itself, then back to the phone, etc. over the course of 90 min. it charged the phone 3%. Something less power hungry would do better. I'll try it with other things and report my results.
As a point of reference, I charged my phone from 3% to 54% in 90 minutes with it plugged into my computer.
Long story short, the Biohazard patrol failed to pack their cook stove. My BioLite Stove accepted the challenge. I just wish I could get the "Home" version, it'd do even better.
me: enough power to heat that big pot?
Dan: too hot to put your bare hand into the water
Dan: probably could have boiled it, but I didn't leave it on that long, didn't need it that hot
