Can’t imagine getting close to 300 for it. Think that’s what they were new before people realized they were just spot welded them together. Every Bottof should’ve come with a free can of Skoal so the owner and bumper could have matching lips

Nate called me for help with measurements for L322 bumpers with a promise I'd get one in exchange for engineering help.

After I got it sketched out and sent to him, I called and asked when I'd get my bumper. He told he was having problems finding AWS certified weldors because he claimed his insurance company demanded such!

To hear they were only spot welded doesn't amaze me in the least.

I have a D2 one here.... Never really kept up with this option since I was close to the guys at RTE in Richmond... Anyone know the value?

Probably about $200-250. Advertise it as unknown manufacturer instead of Bottorf, and you'll get about $100 more.

I had him make a front bumper and sliders for me back in the day. The build quality was good on my parts, but maybe that was before demand increased and things went to shit.

At least you got one!

I got a Bottorf rear bumper AND rock sliders!!! Both were actually pretty decent. The tree bars on the sliders were a little weak and bent up, but the sliders themselves were very stout and followed the subtle curve of the D1 sill quite well.
The rear bumper was fairly clean looking. The swing away tire carrier was a hack job and never, ever got mounted. The wings were supposed to be bolted to the rear quarter panels, but I had Brad at Rockstar fab up some outriggers from the wings back to the frame.

Nate's front bumpers always looked like dog shit, sorry Will. The D rings were sketchy, the brush tubing was too small looking, and the winch tray stuck out like Bubba Gump's lip.

For someone like me whose son busted up both front AND rear bumpers of a DII, this would be a fantastic replacement at about a thrd to quarter of what a new OEM bumper would run-and it probably fits better than the aftermarket models are rumored to fit

The guy that bought my rear Bottorf bumper outfits all his and his friends Disco's with an off the shelf Jeep bumper. A little bit of welding for the frame mounts and bam .

He built the one I ordered to have more of an ARB-style brush guard with plate center supports and bigger tubing. I also omitted the D-rings for 2" receiver tubes that I used to hold shackle mounts most of the time, and for a drop hitch receiver occasionally to move my trailers around. I was happy, overall. The thing was a hell of a value.

Is this the guy from Richmond that had the DII at Autohaus? I wondered what those were. The rear bumper design was not bad, no idea about quality.

FWIW that guy said they told him the frame was shot and the plugs were bad? Frame I get, not sure what plugs he meant.
