5-6 years ago I installed roof rack lighting and used some braided wrap for the wires. It is excellent still, had zero degradation and has been outside since installation. I need more and can't figured where I got it. The stuff on amazon looks cheap compared to what I bought originally. What has everyone else used?

The size you need depends on the size of the wire you are covering. I used 1/2 inch Flexo PET Expandable Braided Sleeving from Alex Tech on Amazon it worked out just fine. I essentially made some jumper cables with quick disconnects to power an air compressor etc so it was a fairly basic project. If you want something high quality and durable without the gamble of Chinese Amazon stuff I also always go with McMaster Carr. Cost is a little more (looks like about 20 bucks for 50 feet of 1/2") but still seems reasonable and there are more color options if that is something that could be useful.

I ended up choosing the Techflex Flexo Super Duty. Wanted nylon not PET. It is OK, was hoping for tighter braid but good quality and got the job done. Prefer whatever braided sleve I originally bought a few years ago for the rack lights but doubt I will ever figure it out where I got it.
