Bypassing the Inertia switch

I was going to look at my Rave Cd, but unfortunately I have misplaced it someplace.

Anyone know how hard it is to bypass and completely remove the inertia switch? I don't think I need it, and it is malfunctioning.

I am not sure what you mean.

If you have one that will fit my 1990 RRC for cheap , sure, but i;d rather get rid of it alltogether.

Mine's been out for over 5 years. Just cut it out and re-splice.

If you want 'peace of mind' put in a new one.

I'm saying it is not a good idea as fuel would continue to flow should the vehicle be involved in a crash. I do not want fuel being pumped onto a hot engine in the event of a crash.

In your case, it would no doubt be spraying on your inoperative oxygen sensors! Might make them work!
