Ive been in Mayfield, KY for 4 months now and need to get out into the woods... been a long while. Anyone in the area interested in a quick trail ride or even an overnight camping trip?

Actually, Monteagle is southeast of Nashville and northwest of Chattanooga. Closer to Chattanooga than Nashville.

if you guys decide to check out the harlan off-road park...i can take you through some better trails when you get done with that! ive got 2 trails in mind that are very scenic and moderatley challenging with some outstanding camping opportunities! i went to the harlan park a few times before it actually opened and was not all that impressed (compared to some of the other stuff around here). however, i have been told that it is much better now. supposedly, they have added some mud bogs and some rock crawling lines. i dont know fo sho because i havent been there in a while but i do see tons of trailer carried monster jeeps around town...so i am assuming there has to be something up there. you guys, im sure, would really enjoy the trails, solitude and scenery around here...although the trees are bare now. come on down...the wiedaman (sp?) is on me!
