OK we Booked a room for Dec 17th at Knoxville Days inn Oak Ridge didn't get the $50.00 rate but did get $59.00 for night. I assumed from post we only really needed one night hope this was correct.

We are self employed so as long as no emergency pop up we are planning on meeting all of you for a fun weekend. Are we the only ones bringing a child (he is 11 yrs old)? If we are is it alright to bring him?

One more thing I was trying to get some new Nittos but they will not be in until Jan 06 so I will be stuck with the stock Goodyear's does everyone still think we will be OK on trails. Stock is so frustrating :-|

of course you can come scott, im suprised you didnt chime in earlyer. if there is anyway possible that you can come, let me know, because it would be nice to A. have another modded disco 2 to ride around with and B. someone who knoes the trails. in fact, why didnt you say something sooner?!? if you would just be comming by yourself, i have an extra bed in the room i reserved, could save you some cash.

My ankle biters wont be making this trip. I need some alone time and they had prior obligations.

It is definitely looking like a good turnout is likely. I started a thread over at TNRovers and there could possibly be more interested. I have directed them to this post as the virtual, pre-rally, HQ and made notification as to the planned departure location and time.

I never though when I posted this thread that we would have over 5 pages of replies and interest, let alone such a large number of people ready to go. Im preparing already.

Really looking forward to seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones. Lets hope for good weather and good luck on the trails.

One addition to the trip. Apparently, there is a pizza place there nearby that has incredible food. Ed's pizza. Ive never been, but, would like to make the suggestion for a possible end of the trail ride dinner to recover from the trail damage (mental or physical), time to talk about the trails, and opportunity to figure out a way to exchange pictures.

Im getting my post number up with this thread.

Another crucial element to the success of this little snipe hunt of ours is... determining what trails to run, one or two groups, etc. Perhaps middle of next week when we have a more definite idea of who is going, we can determine who all has the experience with the trails. I havent been in well over a year and it has changed dramatically since then, so I will be as useless as tits on bacon. It would be nice to have a good idea what trails we definitely would like to do and a general idea of what routes, so we arent sitting around on the trails wasting precious time talking when we can be crushing quarter panels.

Perhaps those of us familiar with the area meet at 8am (or the night prior) and sort it out while we wait for the entire group to be accounted for.

Trail 39 is apparently a must for the modded folks.

Ok guys i am donw for whatever, as long as i can drive home in one peice ;)

I am still coming but i may not have the locker working since noone on the continend has a 5mm push -to-connect fitting so i can finish plumbing the airline. But wait, ARB saved me since they are sending me one i just hope it gets here in time. And i just ordered a pressure switch and some deflators so i'll be ready to rock and roll thursday night hopefully!! I hope we have a good turnout and can do this several times a year!! Can't wait to get there saturday.

Im planning on installing dual arbs and powertank. I'll need to pick you brain on the powertank-arb set up.

Trail 16 was a blast at TAR 04. Ive heard they made changes since. Hopefully for the better.
