Im getting my post number up with this thread.

Another crucial element to the success of this little snipe hunt of ours is... determining what trails to run, one or two groups, etc. Perhaps middle of next week when we have a more definite idea of who is going, we can determine who all has the experience with the trails. I havent been in well over a year and it has changed dramatically since then, so I will be as useless as tits on bacon. It would be nice to have a good idea what trails we definitely would like to do and a general idea of what routes, so we arent sitting around on the trails wasting precious time talking when we can be crushing quarter panels.

Perhaps those of us familiar with the area meet at 8am (or the night prior) and sort it out while we wait for the entire group to be accounted for.

Trail 39 is apparently a must for the modded folks.
i dont know about splitting into two groups, if the stockers go out on their own and get into trouble who will save them? ;) so, we should make that decision when we meet up saturday morning. bill in the tj is a frequently down at windrock and has lead stock jeeps over a few trails so he will be the best judge of what we can do. this is really going to be a great trip, maybe have to do it every year  also, if you plan on going pm discojon and have yourself added to the list so that we can pm you with the proper information.

of course you can come scott, im suprised you didnt chime in earlyer. if there is anyway possible that you can come, let me know, because it would be nice to A. have another modded disco 2 to ride around with and B. someone who knoes the trails. in fact, why didnt you say something sooner?!? if you would just be comming by yourself, i have an extra bed in the room i reserved, could save you some cash.

Richard, I live in Knoxville..so Windrock is only like 25-30 minutes from my house, if that...but i am not sure if i am ready to run the trails that you will be running, since my sliders area going in for line-x on that date...i dont want to take a chance since its pretty damn rocky up there...i got RTE 3in with 33in BFG MTs, but that will not be enough without sliders...but i might ride along if you got room, and if i dont go hunting...let me know..

I'm making the trip solo and will have a empty passenger seat. Rather have one of the USC cheerleaders riding with me, but, until that happens a copilot will be nice to have along. Also, if someone would like to split a room, I have already reserved one at the hotel.

When I went to Coal Creek last time, I was running the OME HD lift, 31 MTRs, and no sliders. Did some scary trails, but with the help of some good spotters never saw a scratch. Now, I did flood the floorboards 6in deep, suck up a gallon of water into the engine, and trash an air filter. That was my own stupidity tho. there was a stocker at TAR 04 that did mess up his doors, but he deserved it the way he was driving

I gots the sliders and 32s just in case :D

i didnt realize that you were going to have stock trucks going...but then there isnt much of a challenge...the trials that i ran in my old disco called for sliders so if we run easy trails then im game..although i want to run the moderate trails...and just so you guys know the trail rating system is all fucked up now..due mostly to erosion and 40in+tires tearing shit up..so a easy or moderate trail could very well be extremely difficult...and by that i mean you wont get up it at all..but they might have cleaned up since last time i was there 2 months ago

Been to Hensleys settlement about 20 years ago. The park in Evarts has exploded since the grand opening, there's now an entrance on the Putney side, three really good rock gardens, a nasty mud mog, and a couple of new hill climbs that are really scary.

Send someone ahead to Big Ed's on a cold Saturday night. A big group could wait for a while.
