I had a first generation Primus ETA that comes with a stove for canister only, I believe the later model is multi fuel, but I sway the stove with a snowpeak white gas stove.

Really impressed with how little fuel the ETA system use, and how fast it can boil water, but I believe the larges pot is only 2.9L.

car camping stoves and backpacking stoves are two different animals. why not just buy yourself an inexpensive coleman dual fuel set up for the car camping and then get yourself a dragonfly or internationale when you really need it for a backpacking trip. if you mostly do car camping trips why limit yourself to a one burner backpacking stove??

ive used the coleman dual fuel for years samewith the internationale and the dragonfly....alll are excellent for what they aremade for. Ive had the primus but i just cant justify using all of those gas bottles that never get recycled (someplaces do but not around where i live). I use to many at a time for long trips. great stove though.
ive run kerosene in the internationale andthe colemane several times down in mexico -quite a bit of extra cleanup...but works just fine.

I have a an extra internationale and dragonfly if you areinterested in either of those stoves...cheap! pm me if you are interested

I have to agree about the Whisperlite...it is either full on or off...no real adjustability. I do find myself using my MSR Superfly quite a bit more than other stoves. So compact and simple, yet very capable.
