Camshaft question

1996 Discovery I
4.0 Petrol Engine

G'day All;
I am rebuilding/piecing together an engine for my old '96 Discovery I (It threw a rod a month ago). I have a spare camshaft but the front does not look like it mates to the timing chain that was in the original engine (see below). I already threw away the old camshaft because it was sheared in two places so I cannot examine them side-by-side.
Could his be a Disco II cam?
Also, there appears some scoring or pitting on a few shaft lobes. Can this be repaired?

The last time I rebuilt this Disco Engine was 10 years ago. I think by the time it needs another rebuild the electric motor conversion will be low enough in price to be a viable option.

That cam looks like it’s for a dizzy engine. A new cam starts under $100. No reason to try repairing an old one.
