I like to keep a water pump on the shelf. I have used Cardone rebuilt products for years and never had a bad experience. With shipping and tax I was all in at 22 dollars.

I'm needing a water pump for my '96 D1 V8 at the moment, and i thought about getting this exact one. It seemed like a 'too good to be true' situation, but if you've had good luck with this particular company before I don't see why it's not worth a shot.

I have nothing to base this on but my guess is it has become a very low demand part and Cardone is clearing their shelves of them.

Napa sells alot of cardone stuff. I don't remember what I bought over the years, but I've never been disappointed either.

Coincidentally, I just bought a cardone rear LR3 height sensor from rockauto for like $25...thought it was quite the steal.
