We don't have that exact tire, but we run the Cooper Evolution H/T on the Highlander the wife drives for work and they have been a great tire. Don't know the exact mileage but I'm sure it's over the 60k I believe they are warranted for and probably closer to 80k. We are about to replace them with the same tire and didn't even consider anything else.

Dedicated snow tires on a Disco will be pretty unstoppable. We had the Rangie with us in Switzerland and never really had any problems with a M+S rated tire in the Alps. Carried a set of chains which are nowadays very easy to put on / take off if it were to get really deep.

The Discoverer True North are rated well.

We used Bridgestone Blizzak WS80 on the other cars. Also carried chains with them as well.

In general any dedicated snow tire wears quickly on dry pavement. 20k is about all one can expect which is pretty good for just snow driving. Also why many folks have them mounted on another set of wheels to easily change them out.
