Ok some of you may remember my first hybrid. Sold that and Im building another, much more of a mud toy but I thought yall might enjoy a few pics. Its VERY low budget this time around so dont think Im half assing it, Im just on a budget. Anyway, sorry bout the phone pics. The body parts are all scraps from different series trucks, the frame is a D1 left at 100inches. The pics of the body are from the mock when I built the body mounts. They are done now but I can only upload three photos. Engine is a Nissan LD28 diesel pushed back about 10 inches, with adapter for a 4spd LT95. Tires are 37 x 13 boggers.(HD axles are coming next tax return!). yes I know its not an original design as its been done before. Let the roasting begin. Gordo

Yippee, I've been waiting for you to reveal photos of this project. No disappointments as usual. :applause: Can't wait to see more progress!

Thanks Army. I am really not that skilled and I dont have enough money ever!! I sold parts and what not off my RRC to help fund the project. I have made a couple hundred bucks at the recycling yard and I also made 2300 bucks on a Cruiser that I fixed up and sold (which got the body, tires, engine, and a few other things). Lots of craiglist, traded parts, ebay, scrap yard finds, etc. i also try to buy all remnant steel vs prime. Not everything has to be perfect...I learned that after my first build...too much time and money and then mama was like sell that thing and payoff some bills. This time round my goal is to make it fun but worthless pretty much!!! Thanks again. Gordo

Had surgery in October so not much progress. Heres a couple recent photos. Trans/engine is all done, most of the body is mounted but still got a lot to do! Gordo

Lookin good on the progress Gordo. If it makes you feel better I think you have done more to your project than I have to my Hunter and all my work is pretty much bolt on...

Redhawk if your giving away 300tdi's let me know lol. I'll trade you my Jag for the 109 p/u :D I'll even deliver.

edit: I found your site my Jag isn't worth a quarter of what the 109's asking price is...

Hey Jen, the bottoms dont flip up in my case but I guess they could if you fabbed up some brackets. My tank is in the tub and the compartments under the seat were toasted so I didnt bother with it. I appreciate the compliments Luc. I really LOVED my first build, it was built at a much higher level but this one has been a lot of fun too. Wish I could have kept the first one and had both, but hey its just a truck right!
