Yeah but that makes a certain amount of sense. You get the flu and for a while you are immune to it, but at some point, like maybe next flu season there you are sick again. Same with the common cold. I see no reason why it can't/won't be the same with the coronavirus.

It's because so many people are asymptomatic. If after several months, someone wants to go visit an elderly parent or grand parent, or take their child to see their grandparents, etc, it makes sense to get tested first. That being said, the current delays on test results make the whole concept moot.

Your probably driving too. That's pure joy, drive 3 days solid to spend 4 days down there. Fuck that.
We were supposed to drive. I don't usually mind, I like seeing the country and stopping along the way. My wife found cheap flights though and we tacked on a few days at Universal, so now we're flying. Now I have to find a hard case for my golf clubs though.

My point exactly. You test, you are careful, test comes back negative, so you visit them and in the mean time you have contracted it and are asymptomatic carrier.

Sorry, I will visit my 90 y.o. mom from 50'.

When I was younger I would drive anyplace. Used to go from Northern Va. to Datona Beach at least twice a year. Then life got so busy it wasn't worth sitting in a car driving for days. But now in this big old goofy world I'm not willing to look at a picture of an airplane, let alone sit in it with all those assholes. So I guess I'll just stay home.

This winter is predicted to be pretty bad with this covid shit. Unless they really do come up with some damn vaccine. So ....not trying to ba an alarmist, just thinking as a group we should make some plans now. We got a preview of what this shit is going to look like, I plan to take the oportunity to prepare.

Never ever been a doomsday prepper type but maybe I'm going to stock up on some shit. Maybe replace my 12 year old chest freezer. Stock up on some stuff, pick up a generator. We all know what these freaks are going to hoard, all the paper products, anything that kills germs. They cleared out the damn canned food section. They always talk about closing liquor stores after people start beating the wife and pets. So stock up on that shit. I want to be able to board this place up and not have to go out for a month or more.

Don't accuse me of freaking out and bringing all the doom and gloom. It's the opposite. I wan't to stay out ahead of this shit. So if the shit does hit the fan I can just sit back and wait it out.

So they come up with a vaccine. How long before they produce 7 billion shots. Two years?

Let's say they product a vaccine come December. So what. Who gets it first. Not you, or me, or anyone else I know.

oh sheesh now we are guessing about 6 mo from now? I was ready for SHTF years ago.
Delays in some places are crazy. I have been tested twice in the last 60 days here, three days tops for results.

Are you symptomatic? Why get tested if you are not. Gonna test each day or what?

If one is symptomatic, it’s easy. Problem is when you’re not, but you need to take the kids to visit grandma. So of course you want to make sure you’re not an asymptomatic carrier. But results take 8 days...

I'm thinking 3 or 4 months. But the numbers aren't going the right direction. Why should we assume anything different.

The whole conspiracy here is to hype up all this corona virus shit and then inject everyone with a “vaccine” made from the blood of frightened children which will turn us all into pedos like Biden and all the power players in DC and Hollywood.

Sounds legit.
