I've never played any first person or online games, but I did dig out my Atari 2600 and couple boxes of games and have been teaching my wife (born in 1986) how to play. She finds them incredibly difficult and frustrating.

My 14 month old knows how to blow in all the cartridges now.

The week my 2 cousins and I tried to master Decathlon is some of the most fun I had as a child 😁

Yaars Revenge was also a major time sucker.

It’s just nice to read what others are doing. I actually feel very fortunate. I may be a little sad, lonely, and frustrated but am very thankful overall.

Given some of the things I'm hearing from friends in health care she might want to stay there for the foreseeable future. And if that's like months and months until they develop a therapeutic drug or a vaccine then so be it. Lonely sucks, dead sucks more.

I think I'm going to take this time off to learn how to powder coat. I've got a great sandblasting cabinet, it's huge. It looks like $1200 bucks will get you a top of the line powdergun and then I just need an oven.

I found this or one very similar on YouTube. I've also found a guy asking 4 grand for a big oven like that, 2 powderguns, a vibrational platform for big cans of powder, shelves full of powder. The shits 3 states away and his big oven weighs a shit ton. I'm going to ask him if he'll split some of it up. He's got a regular old oven that will fit small shit. Probably not a wheel.

Maybe, it's close. I can do radius arms and trailing arms, I can do one wheel while my kid does another on the other side. 2 blast stations. But a bumper is pretty long. If it was powder coated before that makes it a bitch. I'm going to ask my supplier of blasting media what works for that. Maybe heavier grit aluminum oxide than I'm using, steel shot maybe? Powder coat is the shit, it wants to stay.

Yeah they're powder coated. It wants to stay, till it doesn't. Then big pieces like to flake off, and forget about touching it up.

Is there an employer outside of the government that still let's you bank sick/vacation time at the end of the year?

I've never worked at a place with carryover of more than 5 days.

I allow it, and while it can certainly be an inconvenience, I plan around being able to offer that to begin with.

The perks and benefits I provide are quite extensive, but it pays off in the end.

Cheers,

Kennith

No better way to distract yourself from COVID than Tiger King

That is a fucked up show right. What is weird is the way they walk amongst those cats and then that girl sticks her arm in the pen and the cat takes it off. And I do think the bitch killed her first husband. She's just out there.

My wife and I finished the series this morning. Good for us as a storm just rolled through and took out power and internet connection.
Came home and daughter was watching it. I came in around 1/2 way through episode 4.

damn. It was every redneck/trump supporter stereotype in real life.

Decide to plan a murder? Let’s meet at Applebee’s.

No, seriously. That’s on tape.

My favorite part about Tiger King is that the convicted felon drug lord is the most reasonable and relatable person in the show. God bless America.

I like how everyone can have a normal fucking conversation about the show, then Scott has to come in with “Trump supporter” bullshit that adds nothing to the conversation at all except to politicize it.

I’m interested to see if they hammer any of the other people involved. Certainly seemed like plenty of dirt on everybody.

Do you expect anymore from Derangement Syndrome kid? The Show and Scott are both train wrecks. He just can't help himself. He's been given plenty of warnings.
