Given some of the things I'm hearing from friends in health care she might want to stay there for the foreseeable future. And if that's like months and months until they develop a therapeutic drug or a vaccine then so be it. Lonely sucks, dead sucks more.

A family member works at a Pharmacy in one of the hotter areas, and apparently he's not enjoying the increased workload and stupid questions.

Cheers,

Kennith

I like how everyone can have a normal fucking conversation about the show, then Scott has to come in with “Trump supporter” bullshit that adds nothing to the conversation at all except to politicize it.
It's funny to see how much real estate Trump owns in the minds of people like Scott.

The Doc Antle dude is the one I find fascinating. Here's a slightly overweight, pale, middle-aged man who rides an elephant, has a god complex and has three or four wives. None of them being what I would call ugly. That guy has got to be packing.

The Joe Exotic compound, that's just a bunch of meth heads. Knew it as soon as I saw their teeth. I had a friend years back who after a divorce rented a house from this slumlord until he could get back on his feet. Most of his neighbors were meth heads and it was the same fucking insane shit minus the tigers. IDK what was worse, the drugs or the days on end without sleep but it was just chaos.

My kids and I just got over it. Thankfully it didn’t affect my kids (10 & 11) as much but it is nothing to take lightly. I’ve never had a dry cough/chest burn like that, and it would come and go quickly. I could see how someone with some issues could find themself in trouble. My chest doesn’t feel the same as before either. I have 1 more week in my quarantine order. Trying to stay sane, it will be almost a month in at the end of the week.

I would wonder your age. Although this has been made out as something that has the worse effects on the elderly and those with pre-existing conditions a nurse friend said the majority they are admitting are those in the 22-45 age group.

I’ll be 39 next week, also in decent shape.

That's because they aren't taking it seriously. My neighbor in the house across the street is 23ish and single. He's got friends over partying all the time. He's a good kid. Keeps up his house, doesn't play music too loud, no beer cans in the yard, etc. But eff man, they just keep getting together and partying. I really don't think they get it.

Levi, you're the first person I "know" that has had it. Glad you are Ok and on the mend. Do you know how you contracted it?

I listen to the Ben Maller show going in to work in the mornings. He has a caller that got it. 30something yr old smoker with Bronchitis. Said he had a sore throat and a little cough. Then it kills perfectly healthy people.

Crazy, glad you and your family are okay. I'm sure I'm not alone in wanted to know more about your experience if you feel like sharing.

To further the theme of this thread:

Saturday: rented a plug aerator and aerated the yard. Local hardware store is considered essential so....

Trimmed some bushes before the Spring growth cycle hits and graded more of the driveway (don't have a rear blade so I use the front bucket to do it which works out really well, just takes a longer time).

Sunday we drove an hour to Montrose, CO to get Long John Silvers take out. There's not one where I live and the wife and I have had an itch for LJS for over a month.

Back is acting up because I was tied to my desk all last week - exceptionally busy work week and not getting up out of my chair to talk to co-workers since I call them on the phone or skype vs getting up and walking down the hall. Have to pay attention to that.

Wonder how many people are going to claim workman's comp for various issues related to working from home since they don't have the same ergonomic set ups and are being forced to work at home? I imagine quite a bit -people are unscrupulous.

Do squats and ab exercises. Focus on your core strength. Standing squats without weight can do a lot for your posture. The more weight you do to actually improve strength the better. Focus on the form. You probably already know this, but just make an effort after each phone call to do 50 or some arbitrary number. 50 is my go to for anything because of Paul Newman.

where in colorado do you live? Im in evergreen, my job is primarly work from home with 1-2 flights a month. I do like evergreen but its so damn expensive that I have though of trying to find a smaller town. But then I have to worry about schools etc. Oh well, maybe the housing market will crash and I can afford to buy a house in evergreen

Outside of Grand Junction. Absolutely love it here. The only thing it’s missing is a Korean restaurant.

Front looks at Grand Mesa with 300 lakes and 1 mile behind my place is CO 141 S through the canyons to Naturita

here’s a moon rise from the front porch:

I'm not sure where I got it. I'm between Cheyenne and Ft. Collins quite a bit and do a lot of groundwater remediation work in Nebraska. I'm guessing I got it somewhere around home based on the timing. I'm the only one in my office but I share a hall/bathrooms with another office that works in some kind of tourism so that's a possibility. I'm pretty sure my kids got it from me. My ex has it now and has described most of the same things as I had.

It started with a tickle in my throat that would come and go, then a little tighter in the throat but it would come and go to the point where I thought it was in my head because it was all over the news. I think it was the second or third night when my chest started getting tight (sometimes painful through to my back) and the dry cough started. The cough burned and was completely unproductive, it would make me want to cough more which would make it worse and kind of cycled downward. But this would come and go too. This is where I think it could get bad for someone with another issue. I woke up one of those nights soaked like I had jumped in a pool so I'm sure I had a fever too. The chest tightness and dry cough got better after the bad day or two but hung around coming and going as well. It also felt like I was wearing a dress shirt with too small of a collar and a really tight tie after. Those symptoms gradually went away with the tight throat/chest being the last to leave. I still think my chest is a little tight though. My nose would drip like a faucet on and off too but no congestion, drainage, etc. My ex told me she is having bad headaches/neck aches too which I probably didn't notice because I have cervical stenosis. Overall, I think things lasted around 2 weeks for me. I also felt better in the morning and worse at night. The nights I did work out (alternate light weights/yoga) I felt worse after if I finished.

My daughter barely had symptoms, runny nose, light cough and grouchy for a day. It hit my son harder and he was down for a day, didn't eat the first and barely anything the second, 101 fever. He looked swollen, and was achy. No cough and no tightness of chest which was a big relief because we almost lost him to pneumonia a couple years ago. He didn't want me to touch him at the doctor's office, he said just putting my hand on his arm hurt. He would also complain of a bad smell off and on which I couldn't smell.
