Really, like malls and outlets are still open? You can go buy clothes, shoes, etc....? All our retail is closed here. No such thing as curbside. Walmart is likely making a killing.

I should have clarified when I said order online that I meant for the items to be shipped. I don't know of any stores selling things like clothing that are doing curbside pickup.

so you took peoples 40, 60, 60, 70k and more jobs away by force and their new job is to stay home for $1200 each? Who is this moron’s press secretary?
I'm not saying any of this is right (none of it makes financial sense) but there is another component to this and that's the SBA "paycheck protection" loans that if actually distributed will cover payroll for 8 weeks and is 100% forgiven if applied to pay. To me it reeks of the .gov giving the people a taste of socialism which most are going to like. That being said I did apply for it.......

Binge watching Ozark on Netflix. 😉
That’s pretty depressing.
Get some dumb bells and get that heart pumping!
get off the couch and maximize the time you have now.
How many times have you said ‘man I want to get back in shape but I just don’t have the time’?
‘I want to get that backyard looking like Mr, Miyagi’s, but I just don’t have the time’?

😆

All part of the schedule. Good advice, though.

And do it for America!
And if you don’t want to risk infection, lots of home improvement centers deliver. 84 lumber brought me 40 sheets of drywall not long ago, placed on a second story deck, 26 miles from their store,

And do it for America!

I'm totes jelly 😎

My company has a free gym at the HQ, but that's obviously inaccessible for a while.

I was getting bored of pushups n' pullups, so I've been trying to get something, but the home fitness market is insane right now. Free weights and heavy adjustable dumbbells are sold out or scarce across the country.

I ended up trying to Craigslist (cause I'm cheap) a Hoist setup, but they're all in people's basements. Seemed irresponsible to spend that much time huffing and puffing to disassemble and move in unventilated close quarters with strangers.

Finally got a good deal on a nordictrack cst from a fitness studio 🤞

The hoist is for the kids and wife. Had it for a long time.

all you need is a cage, barbell, and heavy dumb bells.
Really all you need is a 35, 50, and 70 pound db.
35 for one arm lateral swings, curl to arnold
50 for one arm thrusters
And a 70 for goblet squats.
The cage is good for PT shit. Pull ups, dips, air squats, until you puke.

(y)Exercise is probably one of the best anti-depressants out there.

If businesses are paying their employees then why would they also get unemployment checks? And sky rocket the unemployment numbers?

Kettlebells are good, simple and (relatively) cheap start too. A 36# (maybe two) and 54#er and you can get crushed.

(Rogue Fitness has the best prices on kettlebells I’ve found. But they look to be sold out).

I assume by cage you mean a squat rack. Squat rack is all you need with one bar and the associated weights. Squats bench dead lift. Then squat press and dead lift. Three days a week. Eventually some other lifts, but that’s what people need in my opinion. Then you can do the pull-ups etc on that rack also. Everyone hates squats and dead lift because they are hard and don’t work your biceps. Potential “partners” love big arms but they serve zero purpose. Squats are where it’s at. Can’t spell legendary without leg day.

Edit: looked at your picture. Good assumption.

Ed Coan (legendary powerlifter) when asked what he did to get such big arms:

Arms are just ornaments on the tree.

It's been about 10 years but I paid about $1 a pound for kettle bells in Chicago

The loans are to prevent people from going on unemployment. It’s supposed to be either/or, not both.
What Scott said, with our reserves and the loan we should be able to keep our guys off unemployment for 7 months. After that who knows....... if we are still dealing with this 7 months down the road we've got bigger fish to fry.
