Been splitting my time between a college class, finishing our basement, rebuilding a road bike, and watching Ozark. And movies and games with the family. Our kids have been homeschooled for years so its business as usual for them.

What Scott said, with our reserves and the loan we should be able to keep our guys off unemployment for 7 months. After that who knows....... if we are still dealing with this 7 months down the road we've got bigger fish to fry.
Yes, which is great and my understanding of the process. This is why it surprises me that the unemployment rate is projected to sky rocket.

It's tough for benching though (why I prefer dumbbell press) cause usually if you set them high enough to not smash your chest or face, it's too high.
I only do one arm presses. Benefit is it works your core as well.
one arm presses to failure then push ups between sets.
I’ve never been a fan of two hand compounds. I like knowing one side isn’t over compensating for the other. One armed compounds help my balance.
if you’ve never tried one arm compounds give it a try. Db thrusters get addictive.

If you mean these but one arm at a time:

I've been doing those for years. Used a weight vest cause I only had 25lb dumbbells.

I wouldn't call them addictive...high rep squats get brutal after a while 😄

I'm lazy, so I like to do drop sets. Max sets, cardio and shredding all in a couple min per exercise.

Hence I really wanted some powerblocks or selecttech 1090s, but they are unobtainable till June.

The 552s were $300 at Dicks 3 months ago. There was a Craigslist guy selling used for $1k today.

It’s pretty amazing how many people are buying workout equipment right now. My wife’s on Facebook, and our neighborhood has a group. She showed me how many people were looking for people with old equipment they want to sell.
Hopefully people start exercising and keep on it.
ive never seen so many people, in my town, out running and biking during this shutdown. then add in people not eating poison thru a window, actually cooking and eating at home.
I know this is normal for lots of people but not in the DC suburbs.

I agree. Back here in Reston. First off, I definitely hate this place from what it was when I grew up here in the 90s through my last time really here in 2007 when I lived in Delaware. Buuut, there are so many people out riding bikes, running, walking, and exercising. It’s wild.

What I'm hearing there is that in a few months, I get to watch a whole shit-ton of people suddenly get fat again. :ROFLMAO:

Cheers,

Squats can also be dicey for you and/or your surroundings unless you have a Smith machine or never push limits.
Shit, just drop the bar off your back.
Spotter arms. If you can’t get the last rep just drop it on the arms.
Yep. Everyone who squats should practice dropping out.

One of the first things I showed my kids when I taught them how to squat.

(BTW - everyone in my house squats and deadlifts. Only way to live/lift)

There's benefits to both.

All compound muscles/joint movements are the best (as you said - bench, deads, squat, pull ups, overhead presses; really, do those and you are solid). Using two hands gets your overall strength up. One hand really identifies (and helps) where your weaknesses are - so you can improve your two handed strength.

My daughter came home (to Bristol, TN) from Chevy Chase partly because she said there were so many people out and about. Not used to that type of population density.

And, the fact that she didn't know anyone (she moved there a month ago; job told her to work from home after 3 days on the job).

Can't deny it though - good to have her home.

Yep...do 3 sets of 10 on each side...it's a great work out.

Btw - actual picture of me. LOL
