Yep...do 3 sets of 10 on each side...it's a great work out.

Btw - actual picture of me. LOL

WTF? If so, you're a proper pile of man meat.

Even at my biggest (185 to push the scale at cruiserweight, given my 5'7" height) I wasn't nearly that cut. I looked more like a miniature gladiator from a 1960's "swords and sandals" movie. I already look mean, and beef favors my lats with almost no effort, so I had a bit of an issue with drunkards thinking I was posturing. :ROFLMAO:

I don't know what the deal is, but I still have notable lats, and I haven't exactly been working out lately. They just happen on me for some reason; being short has something to do with that, but not all. Just strange genetics. I'm like a squished triangle when I'm in shape.

Cheers,

Kennith

I met a guy a little while back that was my height, and didn't look much different, but weighed 210 pounds and was indeed a fighter.

That dude was a fucking brick. I didn't believe him until he let me cop a feel, and then I realized immediately that I never want to be punched in the face again if people are built like that nowadays.

It ain't even fair bringing that compact beast into a ring. I'd lean into suggesting another class for monsters like that. My main advantage has been being heavy and small, but an augmented version of me? 25 more pounds on the same frame? Holy shit.

Didn't think to ask, but a problem I always had was overheating. I packed a lot of power for my size, but that energy has to cook off somehow. I wonder what his endurance was like. I was never one to stack up rounds. Best way to beat me was to stay away and wear me out over a few rounds; get me overheating, take me to the canvas, and bake my ass.

Mastering my reach limitations facilitated that for the patient, but by all that's holy, don't let me close... I knew the limitations, so I spent a lot of time working on closing distance as quickly as possible. I was quick for a short guy. Kept me from getting my ass kicked too often. :ROFLMAO:

This is why LeBron was/is such a big deal.

Jordan skills and athleticism in Karl Malone's body.

A big guy will ALWAYS beat a small guy in hand to hand.

So: Always being a weapon.

LOL.

I'm 1/4 each Irish/Scottish/Russian/Polish.

NOBODY in my family is ripped...

Even at my best 12 years ago, I was ~10% body fat (6'0", 190#, DL 405, squat 335, ran 5mi < 40 min). That's doing cardio until my legs just about fell off...

Then I blew both knees out...

Although with that heritage, I love to drink and get in fights...although I get my ass kicked 1/4 of the time (that Polish part).

(J/K...don't fight at all...(other than in the gym))

That depends on how nasty the small guy is and what sort of rules are involved... :p

In regulated competition with a "Mountain" like that, the story certainly has an inevitable end for the little guy. You'd have to actually kill or permanently disable the man for any other result. Even worn out he's too dangerous to approach with normal strikes, and grappling isn't going to happen.

Good thing most his size are nice guys. :ROFLMAO:

I knew a guy. When I first meant him through a friend he just got out of jail for beating a truck driver up, apparently he had beaten a lot of people up, was good at it. He was like 6 ft 180. He had been a gold gloves boxer so he had training. He also had no conscience and no concern of repercussions. Meaning he didn't care if he really fucked you up and didn't care if he went to jail for it.

That McGregor vs Mountain thing was stupid.

Since I have plenty of time...I worked on the Disco to resolve a coolant leak that has been occurring for about 3 years. Comes to find out., this was a self inflicted issue. The O ring that goes from the metal returned pipe on the heater matrix into the header was put in the wrong spot twice (by me). I never realized that the O ring sits about 1" inside the header. I thought the O ring sits against the metal pipe flange. Needless to say, I have corrected it but still wondering why there is a small gap between the metal flange and the header.

Next COVID project - sort out the SRS light, track down the intake leak, and send oil sample to Blackstone

I'm not sure where I got it. I'm between Cheyenne and Ft. Collins quite a bit and do a lot of groundwater remediation work in Nebraska. I'm guessing I got it somewhere around home based on the timing. I'm the only one in my office but I share a hall/bathrooms with another office that works in some kind of tourism so that's a possibility. I'm pretty sure my kids got it from me. My ex has it now and has described most of the same things as I had.

It started with a tickle in my throat that would come and go, then a little tighter in the throat but it would come and go to the point where I thought it was in my head because it was all over the news. I think it was the second or third night when my chest started getting tight (sometimes painful through to my back) and the dry cough started. The cough burned and was completely unproductive, it would make me want to cough more which would make it worse and kind of cycled downward. But this would come and go too. This is where I think it could get bad for someone with another issue. I woke up one of those nights soaked like I had jumped in a pool so I'm sure I had a fever too. The chest tightness and dry cough got better after the bad day or two but hung around coming and going as well. It also felt like I was wearing a dress shirt with too small of a collar and a really tight tie after. Those symptoms gradually went away with the tight throat/chest being the last to leave. I still think my chest is a little tight though. My nose would drip like a faucet on and off too but no congestion, drainage, etc. My ex told me she is having bad headaches/neck aches too which I probably didn't notice because I have cervical stenosis. Overall, I think things lasted around 2 weeks for me. I also felt better in the morning and worse at night. The nights I did work out (alternate light weights/yoga) I felt worse after if I finished.

My daughter barely had symptoms, runny nose, light cough and grouchy for a day. It hit my son harder and he was down for a day, didn't eat the first and barely anything the second, 101 fever. He looked swollen, and was achy. No cough and no tightness of chest which was a big relief because we almost lost him to pneumonia a couple years ago. He didn't want me to touch him at the doctor's office, he said just putting my hand on his arm hurt. He would also complain of a bad smell off and on which I couldn't smell.

I thought I would come back and update this. I think I still had it when I posted so I'm glad I was staying in. I mentioned my chest was still tight and it gave me one more night when it got worse a day or two later. No trouble breathing but really tight and the next morning I felt normal again and have been good since.

That link gave my computer trouble but I was listening to Dr. Hotez this morning and he discussed that. They weren't sure if it was testing issues or actually happening but from most of what I've read and been told hopefully it isn't an issue. I'm looking into plasma donation but it looks like its 28 days after without a test.

That's awesome! Anything to help the medical community right now is terrific.

That happened early on and we discounted it. When it first came out I was watching some biotech firm that was one of the first to get the genome. They tracked it via tests and it was mutating every other person infected. Back in late feb/mar they were saying they should rename it as -20.

There have been lots of “mutations” small changes, but none that rise to calling it a different (or more/less virulent variant) virus.

Cool graphical representation of the changes.
