Took it incredibly easy this weekend. Cleaned and re-organized the garage on Saturday. Was going to go buy a rolling workbench but then looked at an old Sears rolling toolbox I got second hand in 2009, took the top half off, put on a 3/4" board I had in the shed, painted it, and now have a rolling workbench with drawers. Took my 1969 Lambretta dl out to ride on some curvy roads in the afternoon.

Sunday we let our 14 month old look for eggs, then dressed up and went downtown to a park and walk around and then watched half of the Ten Commandments.

I used to own a 91 Honda CT-70. I'm so VERY sorry I ever sold it....

Besides yesterday we’ve had awesome weather which has been a godsend. Smoked a ham for Easter which turned out pretty well. It’s a been a good way to pass the time though I still have plenty of room to improve. The Rover sitting for days on end made me get to rebuilding the front valve block in the LR3 this afternoon. Unfortunately (or fortunately) not a lot of other projects on it I need to take care of

IMO. Now. It seems that the time is close for us to do what we should have in the first place which is keep at risk people sheltered in place and let others go. Businesses and communities can set their own restrictions.... but what do I really know? not much.

Yes, ask the vulnerable to seclude themselves, for now. Ask the non-vulnerable not to visit or contact the vulnerable. No contact, gloves, masks and all that still apply.

Went to Lowe's yesterday to pick up some irrigation repair stuff and lumber for an additional garden bed where I moved a shed I didn't like because I could see it from my kitchen. About 70% wearing masks. Wife baby and I didn't. Standing in line to return a defective item before going to the store I could see an aging Karen just dying to say something out of her lane to us but she held her tongue. Watched her as she and the cashier exchanged receipts, and then cash and change, didn't wash her hands and put her hands directly into her eye sockets to rub them. But she's got on a mask!

WalMart was next to pick up a few items. First time since this happened we saw toilet paper, pallets of the stuff. Luckily my wife is European so we've had a bidet seat for awhile. Fresh butthole is better than the alternative and twice on Sunday. Also saw big signs on the entrance of WallyWorld that they aren't accepting any returns on toilet paper. Good. I hope those overreacting fucks choke on the stuff.

Went to the grocery store yesterday evening. They have arrows to direct flow. I'm almost to the end of the aisle and here comes a mother and son going the wrong way. Stopped in front of the pizzas (where I was headed) and started debating thin crust or pan. I waited for a while, grew frustrated, and walked by. When I was next to them I said "huh, wonder what those arrows on the floor mean". They both looked at the floor then at me with this blank stare. I can only assume they ask the cashier at checkout why they were there.

This is the kind of stupid self-righteous shit that drives me crazy about people in any situation, let alone a damn pandemic. Everybody is suddenly an outspoken expert because they heard something on the teevee.

Well, figure 50% of the population is below average intelligence (below median, technically, but you get the point). And those people are out there walking around. Driving. VOTING.

Turned off the news, TV and radio today, just can't do it anymore. I was limiting to 30 minutes a day just to see where we stand as a nation, then the China story. Deep anger began to set in so I killed the problem at its source. Turned the stuff off indefinitely. Only good news from now on.

Please - explain who the "non-vulnerable" are.

Hint: https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/69/wr/pdfs/mm6912e2-H.pdf

Asymptomatic, young, healthy. Look into the cruise ship stats. Half of everyone that tested positive on board were Asymptomatic. Can't stay closed for 12-18 months Scott, just being realistic. Not going down this road with you, move along and stop preaching.

Tell me - how do you know who are asymptomatic? (PS - your link about the cruise ship? Read the fine print: 18% NEVER developed symptoms. Not a huge number)

And, a lot of "young, healthy" people get seriously sick (See the link above).

So, how do you decide who is/isn't going to get sick? The world would like to know.
