I just finished a new mountain bike build and going to take it on its maiden voyage in the morning. Now on to 2 old school BMX builds.

I gotta say....getting anything done with 2 little kids (1.5 and 5 on Monday) in the house for the past month has been damn near impossible.

On the other hand, spending every minute of every day with my wife and kids has really been fun even with all the hassles of trying to work and be with them at the same time. Screaming kids in the background while on client conference calls is the new norm!

i got an Aussie (puppies forever) and a 2.5 year old running around.I feel your pain!

I see development milestones that make it all worth while. Not so much for our Aussie though.

My 1.5 year old son tried to stick a knife in the toaster this morning. I’m like, where the fuck did you get the knife?

I didn't know you had a 110 Jymie. Sounds like your doing good.

My kids are all older now and I'm really happy to spend this time with them. I expected them to be a problem with wanting to go out and see friends, but they've been great. It's my 62 year old neighbor that doesn't seem to get it.
You guys are describing why I get up so early. I have 3 kids and have always had at least 1 Newfoundland dog around, but back then usually 2 of them. I started getting up at 4:30 ish because then I usually had at least 1 hour of fucking peace and quiet.

i gave up this morning and took all the rubber door stoppers off every door. Now I do t have to worry about the Heimlich maneuver On my son, at least from those stoppers.

This is exactly why I always love the earliest show time for flying. No one is around. I realized this early on in training when you had a simulator with an old guy who was 60+ years old and they were always nicer in the wee hours of the morning. My guess is they hadn’t interacted with anyone including their spouses of 40 years and were not annoyed by everything yet.

I've got a 20-year-old college student home now. When he was 2 I could put him to bed, close his door and the door to our bedroom, and bang the wife. Can't get away with that at 20. Before this whole corona shit, I was thinking of upping the prescription of that little blue pill. Now I have more of them in the drawer than I do Advil.

wow, you just described my father (checkairman) for 15 years to a tee. You are freshest in the morning 5am he’d always say. Then he’d throw a single engine failure at v1 and shitty visibility. Well maybe not that bad but he put guys threw the ringer in the box.

My 20 year old was about 16 when he said " if you can hear my music then I can hear you guys"
I told him that all that noise she's making is the only way I know I'm doing it right.

I’ve been hiding in East TN for close to 5 weeks now. I’ve built about a mile of hiking trail and ridden several hundred miles of singletrack. I got the call to come back the other day. My boss got approved for the PPP loan. I’m not sure what the hell he is going to have me do. I am a damn bartender. Here’s a work in progress....15E28388-9C4D-4F6C-8F60-9BEE34E142E6.jpeg
