That was my plan B if I couldn't get an appt this week. Fortunately, I got in for this afternoon. Don't know how men with long hair (well, anything more than clipped sides) do it. Hair touching my ears drives me crazy.
You have to let the sides grow longer, as well, to get the ends behind your ears; and undercut the back so it doesn't get in there and fuck with stuff.
If not, you'll generally end up with clippers or a razor cut, and once it starts to grow it'll tear your ears up, or at least the back of your neck. It looks fine and feels fine, but only if you do it frequently.
Now, what I've done for a long time is just cut my own damned hair, but now I've got better access to the service. I look better after that, but since I slick it back anyway, it doesn't really matter.
Cutting it yourself isn't super difficult, and never leaves you with that scratchy feeling later. This is, however, because it is cut improperly. It'll never look as good if you do it yourself. Humans just don't bend that way, and without that flexibility, you've got to be better than most men at hair-styling; which I personally am not.
Good enough for my own hair style, though.
Cheers,
Kennith
