CRANKS, BUT NO START

Just replaced valley gasket do to the old one leaking at the rear. In addition, since it was all apart we went ahead and rebuild the fuel injectors (new screens, O rings and a cleaning) and installed coil pack relocation kit.
It cranks but no start.
* has spark
* it's getting fuel (can bleed fuel out of the fuel rail)
* inertia switch is good
* all plugs and connections look good.
However, I am getting a P1668 code, I didn't get any security alarm activation or anything that would disable the start. I did have the battery disconnectted for two days. I have done this job before and never had any start issues. Truck ran great prior to this.

The plug wires and coil packs are in correct order. I believe the pending code P1668 may be the problem. I am getting spark but I am going replace the crank position sensor anyway.

Yes, I have the Foxwell 520 pro with the Land Rover software. I can do quite a bit with this, however is does have it's limitations.

Does it have the ability to put the ECU into "Security Learn Mode"?

Some say the passive immobilization on NAS trucks indicates a fatal corruption of BCU firmware
No, it doesn't look like I can do that with the 520.
My other concern that I failed to mention was that I just put a new starter in and it still doesn't crank over smoothly. It has a bit of hesitation in the rotation. The old starter was even worse, and the battery is fully charged. If I crank it too long a get what sounds like back pressure into the intake, almost like a backfire, but not as severe. Plug wires are all in correct order, and I checked for spark. I did clear the P1668, but I'm sure this may have something to do with the no start, or am I missing something.

I just ordered the Nanocom NCOM04. I'm in need a better scanner to help clarify this "no start problem" (P1668). I am hoping I can correct this with the Nanocom.

The old starter was completely worn out and the battery was low from repeated start attempts. Installed new starter and charged the battery, cranks faster and more smoothly now. Still no start. My Nanocom has arrived, however I am still out of town and very anxious to get home and try it out. I would appreciate any suggestions with using the Nanocom.

One warning I received was to plug the cable into the Nano before plugging it into the car's plug. At least on a P38 you can apparently toast a relay if you do it the other way around. I haven't learned this the hard way yet.

I still can't figure out why I can not get this truck to start. I went through every function of this Nanocom and the only code that is showing is the same P1668 code that I have had. I just can't reset this code. I have finally hit the wall, I'm all out of ideas.

I was having random issues with my D2 not starting but cranking. It was giving similar issues to a bad CpK but only happening when cold. Found out it was a bad plug from a recent CpK replacement. Replaced the plug and ran new wires to the fuse box. The later part was basically a matter of convenience because of the difficulty in accessing the plug.

I doubt that it's a sensor, I think you still need to figure out why it is in passive immobilization.
