Looking to swap this out to diagnose a “turns over but no start” scenario after head gasket replacement and wanted some tips on best way to do this.
I assume the easiest way to get at it is to take off the diver side exhaust manifold and get at it from the top but looking for suggestions if there is another way that’s easier. It looks like I take the bolt on the bottom side (EDIT:top on engine side) off to remove the housing and then take of the 2 bolts holding it on.
Are there any other failure points in the wiring I should look for?
Also - If the coil pack was compromised (it was dropped into grass by mistake), would that prohibit fuel from flowing thru injectors? The spark plugs are clean/no fuel residue after trying to start.
FYI - fuel rail has 38psi with key on.
Thank you
