Crucifix seals. Right stuff?

Has anyone used aerosol rightstuff instead of the crucifix seals?

Seems like assembling it dry then injecting into the bottom opening should do it.

Thoughts?

I cut the nozzle square to the shape of the void. Works great.

That was a 200Tdi so it got a bead all the way around before attaching the ladder frame, which is the normal procedure.

I’ve never tried it on a River V8, but did on my personal 300 Tdi (in a time crunch and tore a t seal). Mine isn’t leaking which is impressive given that Tdi rear main seals and t seals can be a pain. I’ve never had any issues with the v8 t seals

I think a little up on the top surface like you would even if you used the cross seals. I just use the seals and put a little RTV in the center of the cross. I think technically that’s wrong, but it makes me feel better.
